In 1996, Downtown Dallas was home to less than 200 residents. In just over ten years, that number has grown by more than 15,000% to 30,000 urban dwellers today, 5,000 of which are in the Central Business District alone. Of the thirteen districts that make up Downtown, all now boast living options, each unique to the flavor, architecture, history and brand of the individual area.
And more growth is on the way. With more than 14,000 residential units under construction or formally announced, Downtown will become home to more than 50,000 by 2010.
